パキスタン産野生ハーブ由来ジテルペン化合物のエポキシ誘導体の結晶構造解析

Abstract

A pimarane-diterpene compound with the molecular formula C20H26O4 was isolated from Leucas urticifolia, a wild herb of the Lamiaceae family found across Punjab, Baluchistan, Sindh, and the Rajputana desert regions of Pakistan. The compound features a pentacyclic framework arising from the fusion of an epoxy ring onto the momilactone-A skeleton. Its absolute configuration was tentatively assigned by comparison with the known crystal structure of momilactone, though further confirmation is required. Solid-state packing is stabilized by four intermolecular C-H···O hydrogen-bonding interactions.

Delivery context

The delivery route is not clearly identifiable from this paper. For hydrogen intake, inhalation is the most efficient route; inhalation, however, carries explosion risk (empirical LFL of 10%; high-concentration devices are not recommended).
