シッフ塩基化合物(E)-2-クロロ-N'-(2-ヒドロキシ-1-ナフチルメチレン)ベンゾヒドラジドの結晶構造解析
This study reports the crystal structure of a newly synthesized Schiff base, C18H13ClN2O2. The dihedral angle formed between the mean planes of the benzene ring and the naphthyl ring system measures 22.5(2)°. An E configuration is adopted around the C=N bond. An intramolecular hydrogen bond is observed between the hydroxyl group on the naphthyl ring and the N' atom of the hydrazide moiety. In the solid state, intermolecular N-H···O hydrogen bonds link molecules into one-dimensional chain motifs running along the a-axis direction.
The delivery route is not clearly identifiable from this paper. For hydrogen intake, inhalation is the most efficient route; inhalation, however, carries explosion risk (empirical LFL of 10%; high-concentration devices are not recommended).
